A biker by heart, Hindi poetess, and an active social worker, Amita Singh heads the Bikerni group of Odisha.
She holds a gold medal in MBA, received from the Finance Minister of Andhra Pradesh. She also holds first prize in women’s car rally in Bhubaneshwar. She is also made the local brand ambassador for Suzuki intruder and was covered in their story on WOMEN’S DAY as iconic women of the year. She was the first female owner of Kawasaki Ninja 300 in the state of Odisha.
She has been given respectful chairs in different events as Judge and also has been interviewed by different Radio stations and was felicitated by many organizations for carrying the name of Odisha in Biking communities.
She has organized/participated in many social cause events that aimed to spread messages like Anti molestation Ride, Acceptance of Rape victims in the society, and Rally of Blinds white cane Day. Amita represents her home state Odisha in WIMA (WOMEN INTERNATIONAL MOTORCYCLE ASSOCIATION) And BCI (BIKING COMMUNITY OF INDIA) for cause rides like Save Earth Ride, Gentleman Ride and Anti molestation Ride.
Apart from biking, she has also walked on the Ramp to promote the weavers and craftsmen of Odisha
A strong woman, who is a passionate biker from the Indian state of Odisha, Amita Singh is a role model for the upcoming female riders.
She believes – We should serve the society that made us, “who we are today”.
